****Update: Honeymoon is officially BOOKED!! ****
Later on today we are going to book our honeymoon! I am still sick today and hopefully I can go back to work tomorrow. This has been a long six days and I have been very discouraged with feeling so bad. Today is the first day I can sit up for a long amount of time without having to put my head down immediately. So sad, I know. We have been researching our honeymoon trip and every hotel that we have liked at some point, I found a problem with. Justin was just ecstatic when I finally found one that I didn't have too many problems with. It's the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu on the island of Oahu(whew, that's a mouthful).
Here is the Rainbow Tower where we want to stay. The rooms are oceanfront and you basically walk out the door and voila, you're on the beach. There is a lagoon to the front of the picture where you can paddleboat, swim, sunbathe...
Here is one of the several pools they have on the resort. I love going to the pool but I feel like when you're in Hawaii there are much better things to do, like drive around and find waterfalls, although this pool does look rather splashy.
Here is the beachfront at the hotel. In the background is the Diamondhead mountain(volcano? not sure). We are so excited to be going in less than 4 months. We really want to rent a Jeep and drive around the island, visit Pearl Harbor, climb a volcano, go hiking, see a luau....any other suggestions?

Um, first of all, HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THAT?!?!?!? And second, do you want John, Emma, and I to tag along? Feel free to book an extra 3 seats on the plane... HAHA :)
My dad has been to Waikiki before... and my parents are actually going back there in April. I'll ask them if there is anything they recommend you and Justin do/see. I want to have another honeymoon!
And I'm super glad you are starting to feel a little better. I know that it's been so rough on you :(
yay for the honeymoon being booked!! your day is getting so close!!
Yay for honeymoons- it looks BEAUTIFUL! I'm so jealous :)
it looks beautiful!!
I've stayed there before. It's a fabulous hotel. (we were in the Tapa Tower). It has lots of exotic animals on the property, even penguins!
As far as to do's, our favorite eatery was called "The Shore Bird." I think it's part of the Outrigger hotel...We ate breakfast there every single morning. LOVE IT! You can walk along the beach toward diamond head and you'll run into it in maybe 20 minutes of walking. You will have so much fun! Guaranteed, you cannot go wrong with Waikiki!
YAY!! Seriously when we booked our honeymoon that's all I could think about for a week, totally stopped focusing on the wedding and just started daydreaming about the honeymoon!!!!
I went to Waikiki for my senior year spring break and it was FABULOUS!!! You're going to love it!!! You got to go to Jimmy Buffets resturant Cheeseburger in Paradise for lunch one day!! It's awesome!!! If you're a cheeseburger kind of gal! : )
(and the ABC stores are awesome for cheap little gifts)
