My future mother-in-law gave me a really sweet lace hankie to carry on the wedding day at my bridal shower a few weeks ago. She purchased it in Belgium, before I ever met Justin, for whoever he would marry one day. Whoo hoo that's me gals! I'm going to have it embroidered like above from etsy shop Charmlingly Delightful. I like the vintage look of her embroidery.

I embroidered a hanky (in blue, of course!) for our wedding day last month. I used our monogram and the date.
And, I'm so glad that I did it, as it is such a lovely keepsake...
I'm actually taking a hand embroidery class next weekend and I can't wait...I'll likely have lots of little embroidered goodies around the house soon!
