Ta da! Now that all the invites are out, here they are. These are pictures from Hello Lucky and not from our actual invites, but you get the general idea. I think they look a little bit like the blog design, although I didn't intend to have them match. They were a great company to work with, even though I didn't get the envelopes ahead of time like I ordered. However they were really great about it and credited us $50 back to the account for the inconvenience. There has happened to be something wrong with almost everything we have planned thus far!
For starters, I fired my wedding planner. I don't want to get into the details but I will say that with 6 weeks to go I didn't have linens, tent decor, and the itty bitty details worked out. So, I started to stress. Obviously that was too much for her and she told me that I stressed her out in turn. Add the fact that she had a baby two weeks ago that we didn't even know about until the second week of March and you get one unhappy bride. Thanks for the heads up. I wrote her an email letting her know that we wouldn't be needing her services anymore and she didn't even dignify my email with a response. I started getting vendor emails telling me that they would be working with my directly from now on. Thanks again, really appreciate all the hard work.
I have since hired someone else who is making everything a breeze. So this is what it's supposed to be like! I spent half of my wedding planning stressing out to the max over this stuff, and now it's a piece of cake. I will really be ready when it's all over and I'm relaxing on Waikiki Beach!
I'm went to try on my dress for my first fitting and my veil was M.I.A. They said that the veil was ordered in the wrong length, although I had already tried it on and okayed it. I have to go back and try on the dress with the second veil that they have ordered for me. I hope that it is right!!!
