I've got to tell you, I didn't think the bakery could pull it off, but they did! I may be biased, but I think this is the most beautiful wedding cake ever made. I found the picture in a "best of" Martha Stewart wedding's publication and I fell in love with it. I showed the picture to my cake baking lady and I was so detailed about it that she ended up giving me a piece of fondant that I rolled myself to show her the thickness of the "petals" that I wanted. I wanted it to match my dress. The layers were chocolate fudge, key lime and butter lemon. Usually fondant isn't too tasty but this one was especially good. I only had one bite of it while we cut it, but it was one amazing bite! The florist put these beautiful flowers around it and it was perfect! I remember my mom coming up to me 30 minutes before the wedding and telling me that the cake was pefect, and it was.

That is the same picture I took to my bakery! How crazy! Let's just say yours turned out waaaay better. Oh, well. We just cut it fast! :)
