'Thrilled' is the word that about sums up our elf costume experience. Mia has sort of warmed up to the idea of costumes since I'm always wrangling her into one, but she is also sweet and docile so that helps. She was laying semi-under the tree so I quickly slipped the pieces on and she became completely still. I even added this little present adornment to look all the more festive.
If there was one thing running through Molly's head it would have been "I will claw your eyes out while you sleep tonight," or some sentiment like that. She's not the most friendly when dressed up, however I have found the trick! There is this one pink t-shirt that we put on her and when it's on, she freezes, giving me just enough time to put on the elf costume and slip the t-shirt off. Taa-daa! Here is she is modeling the side view for all of you.
We put these pictures on our Christmas cards and they turned out really cute. Thanks to Snapfish I got these next-day by sending them to Wal-Mart's site to store. And thanks to the "snip" tool I recently found out about, I can still post this photo although the Snapfish website wouldn't let me save this picture! Yes, I beat the system!

I have a Santa hat that I put on Marley and he hates it!! Your card is so cute. I may try and dress the fur babies up for our card next year.
Those are so adorable! I can't believe you got them to wear costumes. Poe Cat gets so angry if we put anything on him (although I'm going to make him wear his Hanukkah collar tonight)!
They are SO precious!! I think my cat would DIE--fall over DEAD. She can't stand being dressed up!
Haha! That is hilarious! I love it! I always attempt to put costumes on our two dogs (which my husband typically yells at me for) but both dogs tend to face dive into the carpet trying to get the costumes off before I can get a good picture! Someday.....
