congratulations miss america!

Congratulations to the new Miss America who came straight from my state, Virginia! Caressa Cameron dominated almost all of the categories! She rocked that yellow dress too! I love pageants, they are just so fun to watch. Who was your pick, besides your state, obviously! I really liked Oklahoma and California too because they looked fabulous!

Maybe I can become Mrs. Pudgy America because that's how I'm feeling right now. After watching that show, I feel like I need to wear large diamonds and crazy amounts of makeup with a t-shirt. Sheesh!

Ha! It was so funny, my husband&I watched the intro & sort of picked out about ten or twelve that we agreed were cute. Then I commented that there was no way they'd ever get more than a couple of our top picks in the top. Then almost all of them were in the semifinalists! Crazy!

We liked DC&Louisiana&Texas. Miss Virginia was a lovely winner, though!

I also love the Miss America pageants. Have been watching them for years and years and years! Last night I wasn't that impressed with Miss Virginia...I was a little sad she won! I actually loved Miss California and then Miss Texas. They were both so classy!

Actually Miss North Carolina is coming to my school for our character education assembly to speak to the students. She went to the same college my sister goes to now and she is such a sweetheart!

in my former life I competed in Miss America local pageants and even got to go to state one year. I love watching Miss America it's like reliving a part of my past. The new Miss America's dress is absolutely gorgeous and I pretty much had her picked after swimsuit.
