This week's devastating earthquake has resounded through everyone around the world this week. The images of the disaster are absolutely heartbreaking. We can't all hop on a plane to go assist with the relief effort, but we can surely donate to charitable organizations, like World Vision, Compassion or the Red Cross.
Jenny, the talented designer behind Simply Delightful Designs has started a donation blog, Hope For Haiti. She has had businesses from various blogs donate a service or a gift item to encourage people to donate to Haiti. Each dollar donated equals one raffle ticket towards many of the wonderful prizes she has on the blog.
Swanky Bakes, my sugar cookie business, is donating one dozen gourmet cookies, shapes to be of the winner's choosing. All you have to do is go to Hope For Haiti and donate any amount that you desire. Basically a $1 donation could win my cookies or a number of other prizes!
