swanky bakes cookie giveaway

I am excited to announce the grand opening of my Etsy shop, Swanky Bakes! After giving much thought to opening this shop, I decided to take the plunge! There aren't too many things for sale at the moment, but I am working on filling the shop up with tons of creative cookies! To celebrate, I am going to be giving away one dozen gourmet, yummy Valentine's themed sugar cookies! They will arrive individually packaged with a ribbon! I promise if you win this giveaway you will not be disappointed!

How about cookies for:

Outdoors: Fires, fishing rods, hunting and golf

School: Scissor, glue and a dodgeball

Travel: Plane, iconic structures (ie - eifle tower) and a suitcase

-OR-

mini letters of the alaphbet - so I can spell out anything I would like to say at the moment before I eat them! (or they could be used to spell out a saying on a cake!)

BTW - Follower and fan.

Congratulations...how exciting!

My first thought was cupcake cookies, which I do think would be super-cute, but I noticed that others have already suggested cupcake cookies.

So, my other idea is...coffee mug-shaped cookies. How cute would that be?!?

Have fun!

Hi Beth,
While I was walking this morning, I thought of a few cookie styles that might be a bit different for your new endeavor: Valentine's Day -- X's and O's for hugs & kisses; Mother's Day: Tulip; Summer: Red Crab cookie; 4th of July: Uncle Sam High Hat; I think red lobster cookies would also be good for summer (more New England), as well.

I enjoy your blog! and did sign up for the Facebook Fan feature but I notice that you didn't show up in my FB info where they list fans?

Thank you for coming and commenting on my blog! Your blog is full of fun and addictive posts and I can't wait to follow along. I've added you on facebook as well as on etsy as a favorite.

As for your cookies...I wish I would have gotten my hands on the house ones when we moved into our house over a year ago!!! How about some princess themed or butterfly cookies for girls birthdays. My daughter will turn one in August so I'm counting on you to have it perfected by then. :)

Oh! I just thought of another idea for summer themed cookies--star fish and scallop shells (in addition to the red crab cookie). If you could market this on the Eastern Shore it is just the kind of thing that women like to put out at their Beach house cocktail parties. You always need a few sweets out and that would be so pretty. Just a thought....
