'I wish' .... I had the startup funds to build that company I have always dreamt about, and it would be a "bake shop."
You all know that I love to make decorated sugar cookies, so I would love to open up a cutesy little bake shop where I could be my own boss and just bake my little heart out everyday on cookies, cupcakes, truffles, well you get the idea! Wouldn't that be nice! I have an Etsy shop in the works for Swanky Bakes, my cookie business, so I guess I'll just take it one step at a time! One of my favorite blogs is My Sweet and Saucy, created by Melody Brandon, who happens to be a pastry chef and opened up her bakery when she was 25! Here are some pictures of her amazing creations and unique display ideas! I am so inspired!

Thanks so much for the blog comment! Those months of unemployment sure did allow us lots of time to be together...time we never would of had otherwise. My husband has been in his new job since November and I can see how the Lord used that situation to provide something beyond our greatest expectations! Blessings!

Oh my goodness - I am in LOVE with this idea.
I bake wedding cakes on the side... but I am not a professional. I would love to go to school to do this!! Mmmmmmmm... that cupcake looks SO good :)
