Thank you to all the troops for your service, past and present.   Life is so short, take pleasure in every day.  We learned of a girl who passed away over the weekend who just had a baby a few days before.  Her fiance works as an officer with my husband.  She went to youth group with me in middle school/high school.  We never kept it touch, but I am so saddened for the family and the baby.  What was supposed to be a joyous time has turned to agony.  I just can't shake the fact that life is short.  We never know when the end is near.  I'm taking this Memorial Day to be truly grateful for the friends and family that I have and this wonderful life that I have been given.  I hope that everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day.

my favorite thibaut prints. ever.

I have worked at several design firms in Richmond that carry the Thibaut (pronounced tee-bow) line of textiles and I am kicking myself that I never used my discount on any of these fabrics or wallpapers.  It was by far my favorite line to sell to clients, mostly because the prints are bright, fun and 'reasonably' priced.  Here are my top 10 favorites.  (Click on pics for more info.)

the lost finale

Alas, all good things must come to an end...but why must it be now Lost producers?  After watching this show for six years, I'm not exactly ready for it to end and have zero to look forward to on Tuesday nights, but I cannot wait to see how they choose to end it!  Will Jack be left along as Jacob's replacement?  Will Kate end up with Jack or Sawyer?  Will the sideways time line end up being the true time line?  We shall see tonight!
