Between running a business, cooking up new recipes, sort of cleaning, moms groups, play dates, Community Bible Study twice a week, tutoring, and being a mom to a very busy 15 month old, I'm not finding the time for much else. I honestly love our busy schedule and wouldn't trade it for the world.
Avery is growing up right before my eyes. Before I know it she'll be taking her SAT's and then getting married. Time is flying.
My new(ish) Etsy business has really taken off. I'm so grateful to everyone who has purchased a design, or even looked at my shop. I do appreciate every favorited item on Etsy and "like" on my Facebook page. I don't take one of these for granted and feel so humbled to be able to contribute to my family this way. Just this month alone I've had over 30 sales and hope to keep increasing my numbers as time goes on.
Avery and I are involved in a local MOPS group, which I honestly just love. The girls there couldn't be any nicer and it allows me to spend more girl talk time with my sweet friend Jessica sans kiddos. Our girls just love each other and it's so much fun to see them play.
We've also had play dates with lots of friends and are staying super busy while the weather is so awful.
If you're never attended a Community Bible Study, I highly recommend one if there is one in your area. CBS is an amazing group to get involved with and I promise you will learn so much about the Bible. There is a lot of homework involved but the teaching has brought me so much closer to Jesus. It's truly amazing and I pray that each one of you can somehow get involved with a CBS near you! We have been studying Revelation (in meticulous detail) since September and next year we're studying Genesis for a year. I'm so pumped about this!
I'm also a CBS kids teacher on Mondays for 3-5th grade girls. I love teaching kids about God's love for us! It's exciting to see them say their memory verses and to dance to worship songs.
I also tutor three elementary school kids each Wednesday for three hours. It's great side money and allows me to keep teaching in a way. I really love to help kids learn, but especially in math. Which is weird because math was always the subject that induced so.many.tears throughout my life. Go figure.
Avery is almost 16 months old and I will kick myself if I don't crank out a 15 month blog post.
Maybe tomorrow? But here's a little sneak peak of her 15 month check up.
She's such a sweet girl!
