Praise the Lord for warmer weather!
Today started out rainy and completely dreary, calling for pj's and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We were having a great time, cozied up at home, until low and behold, the sun came out. If that isn't an attitude changer than I'm not sure what is.
We ran a quick errand to drop off donations at Goodwill and then headed out for a walk with Avery and my mama around her neighborhood. We had such a great time and walked almost two miles. My mom and I love to chat as we walk and Avery makes all kinds of animal sounds and giggles. The clouds were burning off and the sky was so blue. Wish I'd taken a photo of it.
We broke down and purchased Avery her first pair of good tennis shoes and I just love them. They are Saucony brand baby girl tennis shoes from the Stride Rite outlet (Williamsburg, VA). Investing in a good shoes is very important when the littlest kiddos are learning to walk or new walkers. If you're going to scrimp somewhere, don't let it be their shoes. These Saucony shoes are durable and I know they'll last through dozens of play dates at the playground. I highly recommend them.

Avery looks so cute in her new shoes!
I love getting my little one Stride Rite shoes as well. If you shop on the site "totsy", they are having a huge sell in these shoes right now. Check them out. Any savings is a good savings!
