Oh, Lemon Buddies Chex Mix. Be still my heart.
Ladies if you haven't tried this yet, stop everything and make some right now. You're welcome.
I saw this recipe swirling around Pinterest towards the beginning of the summer and have been snacking on it ever since. I decided to create a little gifting printable and just love how it turned out. I'm sharing details today so you can create one too with my FREE matching printable!
These adorable yellow mini buckets were too good to pass up for $1/ea at Michael's. I knew they'd be perfect for this project.
I am in by no means a food blogger. The recipe is straight from Simply Scratch and it's really so simple that it comes together in less than 20 minutes. She will show you the step by step process in beautiful pictures. If you like lemon, or chocolate, or sugar...you will like this.
After I whipped up a huge batch of the Lemon Buddies Chex Mix, I added some large scoopfuls into small plastic treat bags and sealed with a mini clear elastic band. I used a 2" craft circle punch to cut out the individual food tags, hole punched them, and tied on a yellow ribbon from my craft closet. You could even use a cute scalloped punch to add a little more pizzazz.
Put it at all together and voila! The cutest little gift to pass to a friend.
Use for a shower gift or back to school treat for a teacher!
Be sure to save some for yourself too.
Can also be used as a toddler bribe. Just saying, it's not like I've tried that or anything.
Download is a high res PDF 8.5x11 with 12 circles per sheet.
