My husband has started a new work schedule and we couldn't be any happier. He is now Monday through Friday, day hours. This is HUGE for us. Now he'll be home for dinner and bedtime. It's nice to feel normal!
I made Lucky Charms chex mix this week, exactly two hours after I joined the gym. What is wrong with me!?
Our church's summer dinner series finished up last night. I feel so energized about what I've learned this summer about grace and God's sovereignty. I only wish I had the courage to talk more about Jesus to others. I'm really praying that it gets easier because I want to share him with others!
After seeing many bloggers talk about the Netflix series Orange is the New Black, we thought we'd give it a go. All I can say is it's vulgar and nasty and we will not be watching it again. I'm actually shocked that people like it so much.
Avery has named her little stuffed elephant Aussie, or maybe Ossie. Maybe we're watching The Wiggles too much? I'll have the only toddler walking around with an Australian accent.
I'm really sad to hear about the death of Gia from The Bachelor. She was such a sweet girl on the show.
Lately I've been thinking about how blogging has evolved. This blog was created almost five years ago. My blog reading list has decreased over time. Sometimes I wonder how real some of these blogs we read are. The keeping up with the Jones' type bloggers really turn me off. I enjoy real, authentic moms and creative blogs, no matter what their readership is.
I'm going to be 31 in three weeks.
I love that in almost 31 years I satisfied. No rush to have another baby. No rush to move. No rush to think about my career in the future. This is where I'm supposed to be.
My Etsy shop is 35 sales away from 500. Never would have believed that a year ago.
Chickfila is starting to bore me. I know, crazy.
Avery's personality these days is so cute. She says hi to everyone. Including college age boys that walk by. I'm not sure they even know how to handle it.
Have you ever felt like a drill sergeant in kid play areas? Do parents even watch their kids anymore?
That's all I've got for today. Happy Thursday!
