Thanks to everyone for their sweet emails and comments about my Skin Health Scare post. So many people could relate and it felt good to know I wasn't alone. I had two places removed at a plastic surgeon's office that were atypical. Fortunately, the place on my thigh came back as scar tissue (after TWO dermatologists suggested I have it removed) and the place on my chest came back as a yellow light. They removed it all so I should be find, but I had I not removed it, it could have turned "bad" as the doctor said. "Bad" really just sounds like a nicer way to say cancer. I feel relieved and grateful that for now everything is okay. Please join me in seeing a dermatologist every year (or 6 months) for a skin check.
This past weekend we went to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The weather was so beautiful and it really was a great way to spend the first few days of fall. We took Avery to a huge Thomas the Train event and she loved it. Can't wait to grab the photos off of my camera and share them. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen Avery's adorable Thomas dress and fun photos from our day!
I've been hard at work with some new branding for Sunshine Ink Studio. I would LOVE if you would go check out my FB page and Etsy shop. LOTS of fun things there, including Christmas cards! It's never too early for Christmas, right?
Lately I've wanted a few things changed on my blog that I can't do myself. HTML to me is like a math problem. I just do NOT get it. I inquired about a simple redesign to a designer online and they wanted to charge $1800. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Bloggers these days are completely nuts to spend the money they do on a blog design.
Avery is growing like a weed. She's a month away from turning two. So big, but still so little. Party planning mode is in full swing, but we're taking a more simple approach this year. And simplicity these days is the name of my game.
Have a happy Tuesday!!
