Have you heard of Chew Beads? I saw them in a local boutique and was so intrigued by these colorful necklaces, made for babies to chew on. This past weekend a friend received a pair at her baby shower and it convinced me that I will need a pair to wear with Miss Avery, especially when she starts teething.
Features of Chew Beads (from the Chew Beads website):
- Beads are made of 100% silicone
- Soft on baby gums and teeth
- Clean with dish soap and water (dishwasher safe too)
- No BPA, PVC or other chemicals
- Have a breakaway clasp for added safety
- And there's more on their website
There are two styles of necklaces and several bracelet styles as well. My favorite is the Jane necklace and I especially like the emerald and grey colors. Perfect for fall and winter. Each retails for $29.50.
Chew Beads in action!
So what are your thoughts on Chew Beads? What color/s would you choose?

Interesting idea. E is teething so I think it might work although she drools a lot now. I love the green.
Not gonna lie, that's kinda weird
My only concern would be that your baby will think ALL your jewelry is okay to chew!
I agree with little b. I'd like to be able to wear other jewelry without having it chewed and/or being drooled on. They make teething necklaces for babies and I think that would be a better solution. Google Amber teething necklace and you'll see several varieties.
Very interesting! Another one of those things where you set back and think and why didn't I think of that! :)
I am trying to get a blog giveaway together but I need more followers! Send them my way! Lol! :)

I have heard of these before and I think it's pretty smart but I agree with others who have said that baby might think they can chew on all of your jewelry!
I've heard of these before! Seems like a great idea, but I do agree that your baby will think all your jewelry is okay to chew after this!
I'm with little b, I would be worried the baby would think all necklaces would be ok to chew on ;) But they're super cuute! Love the idea!
